Winners of the 4th Round Foreign Currency Lottery Receive Prizes
- Dessie town picks up the first Prize Foton Minibus with a loading capacity of 15 passengers
The 4th Round Foreign Currency Lottery which had been effective since “Megabit 20, 2010 E.C was successfully concluded under the theme “Receive from Awash and Win.”
The drawing ceremony for the 4th Round Foreign Currency Lottery was held at the Ethiopian National Lottery Administration Hall open to the public observation.
Following identification of the winner numbers Ato Dereje Belay resident of Dessie town was declared winner of the first prize Foton minibus with a loading capacity of 15 passengers. The handing over ceremony of the prizes, was held at the Bank’s Dejiazmach Balcha Safo building here in Addis Ababa on Nehase 21, 2010 E.C in the presence of Bank’s officials, winners of the prize, invited guests and the media.
After handing over the awards to the winners of the prizes, Ato Temesgen Busha, Director, Strategy and Corporate Transformation congratulated the winners of the prizes of the 4th Round Foreign Currency Lottery scheme.
He noted that the 4th Round Lottery program was successfully foreign currency transfer and exchange.concluded amidst the government’s tough actions to curb the illegal
The 4th Round Foreign currency Lottery Prizes were fractioned into three levels in which a Foton minibus with a loading capacity of 15 passengers was designated to the first prize while 10 LED 32 inches of television sets were designated to the 2nd prize and 20 smart Galaxy Mobile cellular phones were presented as a third prize.
The winner of the first prize, Ato Dereje Belay after receiving key of the vehicle commented that he had never imagined he would own a vehicle and witnessed that Awash Bank truly paves the way for development.
Of the ten television sets 4 were acquired by residents of Addis Ababa while the remaining 6 television sets headed to Nekamte, Agaro, Jinka, Adama and Assela towns.
Similarly, of the 20 cellular phones 7 mobiles were picked by residents of Addis Ababa while the remaining 13 mobiles were picked up by residents of various regional towns.
In similar developments, the 5th Round Foreign Currency Lottery campaign has been effective since Nehase 21, 2010 E.C and seizing the opportunity the Bank invites customers to receive the money sent via International money transfer agents and exchange foreign currencies at any branches of the Bank.
